One of my clients actually gave me a reference pic from a nail magazine and asked me to do the same for her nails! I did a mock up for her and added my own element in it but turns out… she didn’t choose to do this design afterall! (will post her actual design up in the next post!)
Lots of embossed art + pearls + crystals! Love the middle finger especially 😀
This is the last lesson of my acrylic class in June! That day we made Strawberry Shortcake!!!!
The one at the farthest left is done by Teacher Erica, while the other two are done by me! Haha, my first try turned out looking like a witch because of the sharp chin! The face was too big for the second try but it doesn’t look like a witch now hahaha!
Definitely need to practice more!
Lastly, decided to use one of the charms in the kit to spice it up abit! 😀
The Chanel craze is here! Been seeing lots of Chanel-themed nails among my nailist friends! Charmaine showed me a picture from CynfulNails and all I did was to make some modifications!
I used Angel.Pro 29 and Angel.Pro 47, all art drawn with gel!
Personally, I felt that this set of nails was quite a challenge! I actually drawn the logo thrice because I couldn’t get the proportions right! 😦 definitely need to improve! But Charmaine was so nice, she said she was satisfied with how the logo looked!
And I showed her my Hello Kitty-Chanel nail wheel to choose other embossed designs and she chose a Chanel handbag ;D omg love how cute this is! We were both squealing after it was done hahaha!
Don’t you think this set of nails matches her phone cover? 😛
Oops, got carried away during the ‘photoshoot’! Beautiful nails need some attention! 😉
I attended the Chanel-Kitty workshop held at my nail school, The PinkRoom International Nail Academy last Monday! I signed up last month, since seats were really limited and naturally; I was looking forward to the course!
Its been 2 months since I’ve started my diploma course and so far, I’ve not touched any acrylic modules yet. However, as I had a little experience dealing with acrylic in my ONS workshop earlier this year; I decided to go ahead with attending this workshop as a learning experience!
Was told to purchase either Angel Pro or Charisma powders to attend this workshop and so I did! There was a further 10% even with student discount! ^^ I bought the Sunshine rainbow series, love the colours!
My messy workspace! Rachel, our principal was teaching the workshop and she provided with lots of neat tips and tricks! First she demo-ed, before we do some hands-on! There wasn’t much time for much hands on practice though, I wished the workshop duration was longer!
Pics below shows Principal Rachel’s work! They’re fabulous!! There are more designs but unfortunately I didn’t manage to take pics of it 😦 Oh and I realised Rachel uses those hooks to put her nail tips which I think its an innovative idea!!!!
Lol… and the below picture shows my end result! Well, please don’t judge me as yet!! I only like my Hello Kitty face hahahaha, its body is too long and the sleeves are way too big! 😄
All in all, I had fun!!!! I’m looking forward to new workshops in the coming months 🙂
Yongying, another customer who brought alot a picture of her intended design!
She chose Gelish Make A Difference and Gelish Waterfield, and the heart was drawn with Bling B020 and Gelish Black Shadow! She absolutely loves bling and I’ve added a huge ss10 crystal and ss4 on her glitter nails, a square gold stud on her middle and black lace and a Chanel charm for her thumbs! Look at how shiny the charms are, simply stunning!
Yes I do have quite a number of charms at the moment, I’m bringing in more designs too! Check my Facebook later on, I will post it up ^^
I love how this set looks, it doesn’t look over the top with the blings!
