Shervin came over to have her nails done for CNY! She requested for this nail art by showing me a picture that she got online and this is basically it! The original design was a slanted french with a solid silver stripe down with big polka dots on every nail.
She wanted to keep it simple, hence the alternate polka dots and the glitter silver stripe instead!
If you guys follow me on Twitter and on Facebook, you’d have known that I got 12 Angel.Pro Gelly polishes from Pink Room!! (3 is on pre-order) and I’m super happy that I got to try out one of the colours! This is Angel.Pro 22… I wish Korean polishes have names!!!! This is a very sweet colour, a pinkish red! 🙂
Again… Another backdated gelish on me!! I had to remove this when I went to my ONS I-Gel workshop on Sunday! (will blog in more details soon!)
This is a design inspired by Nail Bible!
I decided to mix floral and animal print this time and I love the result!! Haha, might seem like a mess but I actually love this ‘chaos’ hahaha! I think I’m still in the phrase of the half-nail thing hahaha I’ve been doing this for the past two manicures!! I used Artistic Colour Gloss With It, Gelish Seafoam and Gelish Desert Sands! The rest of the art is done using acrylic paint and China Glaze Tree Hugger! 🙂
Hey guys!!! 😀 I’ve been wearing this manicure for about 10 days and I got sick of it and removed it two days ago! I guess I forgot to post this lol so it’s another case of back tracking on my gelish manicures! I juz did a new one last night and I’m excited to show you all! It’s probably going up in a couple of days~
I used Artistic Colour Gloss Tease; a really pretty Tiffany Blue and Gelish Vegas Nights for the base! I also used Gelish Waterfield before adding on the nail art! Did the half-nail technique so you can’t really see the nail growth! Added a line of hexagon glitters and did the art in black acrylic paint! ❤ it!! Hehe most of my friends say that the leopard print looks like its from konad… but it isn’t!!!!! 😀
My boyfriend’s mum saw my nails and she said she wanted the half-nail design for her next manicure! 😛
Have a nice day y’all! I’m doing a house call for my bf’s mum tonight ^^V
This week is my term test week and I’m extremely stressed out but I’m certainly looking forward to Friday!!! Can’t wait!!! There’s so many things to do this holiday~ 😀
Anyway, I have Deborah Lippmann Daytripper to show you today! It’s a pretty jelly pink coral!
Though it looks pretty good on its own… I added Boom Boom Pow right on top of it! The gold really complimented this pinkish coral and brought out the orange tones in it; it kinda looks like a small sparkly fireball!
I had no problems with the formula at all, absolutely flawless! I’m kinda lagging behind Deborah Lippmann’s collections already because the last polish I got from DL is Daytripper and that was probably in June! I need more of her festive glitters!! *__*
Bought my Nail Up! November issue last week and I really love lots of designs from there! So here’s my take on them!
I know I shouldn’t be changing up my gelish manicure so frequently but this time… I got really excited about trying this and at the same time; I kinda chipped my nail at the sides a little bit because I knocked really hard on something. Lol, I’m so clumsy…
A tutorial was included which was really easy to follow and TA-DAHHHHH…. I love how easy and effortless this is!
I used Harmony Gelish Take Action as my base colour and also it was kinda a close match to the tutorial. OPI I’m Indi-a Mood For Love, L.A. Color nail art striper in gold and acrylic paints for the rest 🙂
Added swarovski crystals ss10 and ss5 to make the ribbon! It kinda looks slanted though
OMG… Today’s my 19th birthday! Hahaha a year older and a year inching up the twenties soon! I have superb friends that gave me cards through my doorstep (lol!); they really hand delivered it and two of my very best friends came over to my place to give me a surprise gift! I thanked them by doing their nails but I’ve only got time to do Sharlene’s.
So here’s pictures!! I explained the benefits of Gelish and I think they’re amazed that the UV lamp actually dries the polish hahaha~
I used June Bride and Make A Difference as the bases; with floral accent nail and Swarovski crystals! Super bling and shiny thanks to the crystals and of cause; June Bride. Such a pretty and classic pink glitter! Definitely have to get more glitters from Gelish because they apply so smoothly, so unlike normal polish!
Finally able to do such nail art for a very long time and I’m happy on how it turns out! I used acrylic paint on the art except Jesse’s Girl Mermaid’s Lagoon as the dots.
And here’s two photos which Sharlene sent to me! ❤
Hello all! Hehe just want to update you guys on my new gelish manicure for this week! My cuticles look so much better now because I gave my nails a break during the weekend and constantly showering them with cuticle oil and hand cream!
I did them on Sunday night and it still looks the same as today! Haha my nails grow really slowly so there’s no sight of nail growth yet.
I used Tiger Blossom; a bright coral and Sleek White as the base colour, topped with Swarovski crystals! I did cherries nail art on my accent fingers 🙂 Cherries nail art was inspired by cutepolish from YouTube and Ying!
I love mixed sets like this! It isn’t too over the top with the designs but still fairly simple and yet with a punch of fun! 😀
