Gel Mani: Purple Facade

One of my nail designs months back! This was the last set of gelish that I’ve done on myself ever since I had extension classes in June! 😦 now all my nails are short and stumpy and rather damaged!

Anyway, I used Angel Pro 5 for the base and Artistic Colour Gloss Fly for the marbling! Added on realistic flower stickers that my boyfriend bought for me overseas and lastly embellished them with more blings!

This is one of my favorite sets because I like how the colours are so in sync! And… Purple is my favorite colour 😉

Gel Mani: Simplicity at its Best!

Managed to fit in Lee Ser for a last minute appt! She wanted something simple for a wedding dinner and french tips is the way to go! 😉

This was done with Gelish Less Talk and Gelish Sheek White! I am still in the midst of improving my application for french so do let me apologise for my not-up-to-standard work.

Gel Mani: Retro Squares!

Rachel requested for this design and I just had to make it happen!

She also chose the colour combi that she wanted and also didn’t want the gold studs as featured.

So I suggested doing a subtle glitter on her green base since it was odd to leave it plain, so that’s Artistic Colour Gloss With It and Gelish Vegas Nights! All nail art was done with gel colours!!! Love them, they look so cute together!

Rachel even mentioned she wanted to corporate yellow in her next Gelish mani! Can’t wait for her next appointment!

Gel Mani: Victoria Secret

Liyinn decided her design a week ago through email but we made some colour changes! There are 3 designs in total; V-French with floral on the thumbs, pink stripes on pointy and ring fingers and slanted florals on the rest!

I named this Victoria Secret because of the loud pinks! They seemed to be attracting more attention than the other fingers!

Colours used: Gelish Black Shadow, Gelish Gossip Girl, Gelish Go Girl, Gelish Sheek White! All art done with Gelish with the exception of the floral art 🙂

This is rather an interesting combination, fairly unique I’d say! What do you think?

Gel Mani: Minty Fields

Alexis sent me this video a day before her appointment and it was one of Robin Moses’ designs! Video tutorial here:

Alexis just got back from the States and she loved St. Patrick’s so she decided to do one on it!

Colours used: Angel.Pro 10, Gelish Sheek White and Gelish Mint Icing! Only the clovers are done in acrylic paint!

Gel Mani: Kitty on Roses

Michelle wanted the Hello Kitty design that I did for Abigail a month back, and a couple of other ones that I did; florals and ribbons! However, we only decided on 2 complex designs and a simple one (polka dots) so the entire set would not be too overwhelming!

TADAH! I think my floral design seems to be the popular one among the ladies 🙂

This time, the Hello Kitty is on the tips instead of half-moon as before as Michelle’s free edge is ample enough for the design!

Colours used: Gelish Sheek White, Gelish Make A Difference, Gelish Take Action, Gelish Black Shadow and ONS Tiptoe Thru The Tulips, only the Hello Kitty design and polka dots are done with gel, the flowers are acrylic paint!

I love it, it’s so feminine!

Gel Mani: Sweet Lace

Sorry for the lack of updates! Been busy interning and attending nail classes!

Did a house call for my boyfriend’s mum this week before she flys to Taiwan! 🙂 Hopefully my boyfriend is able to bring back Japan stickers so I’ll have a wide variety for you guys to spice up your nails! There’s a new nailtat store in Taiwan so I’m crossing my fingers that they will be able to find it!

Anyway, on to the nails!! First time doing embossed art on my bf’s mum and I don’t think I did a very good job 😦 this design is adapted from cynfulnails.com! Colours used are Angel.Pro 28, Gelish Sheek White, Gelish Black Shadow and lastly, Gelish Vegas Nights!

Brought over my lace stickers and I like how well the dots and lace complemented!

Gel Mani: Floral Mix

A simple polka dot, floral and ribbon mix for Amanda! Amanda was in a dilemma in what to choose but in the end, she decided to have a little bit of everything!

She is also coincidentally my primary school junior, whom I recognized almost immediately upon meeting her 🙂

Base colours used are Gelish Less Talk and Artistic Colour Gloss Tease! All other art done with Gelish colours!

Wasn’t really satisfied with the ribbon I’ve drawn at her thumbs because it wasn’t precise and detailed enough. I should have used acrylic paint to draw them 😦 😦

Gel Mani: Classy French

Rose and Hazel came for a French manicure and both of them chose a different base colour!

Rose had Gelish Tassle while Hazel had Gelish Champagne!

Wow I think this was the best French I’ve ever done even though I still need lots of improvement!! Rose also added butterfly stickers to her ring and thumb which I didn’t take photos of!

Hazel wanted a different style… She wanted blings on her ring finger!

Gel Mani: Cross Country

Janice came for her gelish fix for an upcoming wedding for a close friend of hers!

She sent me a photo from an issue of Nail Bible before her appointment and she specifically told me she wanted only the dotted line design! So I suggested using stickers from Japan and she was very open to my ideas and suggestions! So the end result was 3 different nail designs! The pinky and pointy finger had the realistic rose stickers with the dotted lines design, the ring and the thumb had lace stickers and the middle had crystals lining the rose stickers!

Colours used was Angel.Pro 3, Gelish Go Girl, Gelish Sheek White and Gelish Black Shadow!

The entire set ended up looking so sweet and feminine which was what Janice wanted! 🙂
